The St. Vincent de Paul would like thank the 236th Scouting Group on collecting food for the Food Drive which was held on Saturday, November 9th. The participants included 3 Beavers, 14 Cubs, 8 Scouts,4 Venturers, 11 Leaders, 24 Parents. They collected 2,681 pieces of food and $36.00 for St. Vincent de Paul.
CHRISTMAS – A TIME FOR GIVING
The Holy Name St. Vincent de Paul Society is looking for parishioners to sponsor families at Christmas time. Let’s share our abundance with the less fortunate in our parish community. Please phone Holy Name St. Vincent de Paul at 416-469-0842 and leave a message.
Baptism Preparation Session
Please pick up a baptismal package from an usher at the entrance of the church or at the parish office.
All parents wanting to have their child baptized in the upcoming months must speak with Carol Soloman, Lay Pastoral Associate before each Baptism Preparation Session. Please note that the Baptism Date must be confirmed with Carol before you make arrangements for family and friends to attend. Monthly baptisms are on a first come first served basis.
The next Baptism Preparation Session will be Saturday, December 7th at 10 am in the St. Marguerite Room (off of large hall) The upcoming Baptism dates are: December 15th & January 19th at 2 pm.
FUNDRAISING FOR THE PARISH
Cash for Cartridges is an innovative recycling program which pays our church for recycling empty inkjet cartridges.
Do you use Canon, HP or Lexmark
Cartridges for your computer printer?
If so, please bring in your empty cartridges to the parish and place in the box at the entrance of the church.
