100th Anniversary Photo Directory

We Need Everyone!

And  Everyone is welcome !

Here is your chance to get that professional portrait and it will all take place right here in our church!  IPC Photo Canada works at hundred of churches across Canada every year!  Every family will get a copy of this photo directory free just for having their portrait taken!  At no cost to our church either!  IPC offers this service free.

Sign up today after Mass to have your portrait taken Monday, September 23rd & Wednesday, September 25th for our new photo directory.

The photo directory committee thanks you in advance for your participation and support in this very significant project!!!

Parish Membership

Welcome new parishioners!

To be a registered member of our parish is to have a sense of belonging to a Community of Faith.  Please introduce yourself/family to the pastor and register as soon as possible.  All parishioners especially those who live outside our parish boundaries are expected to complete a Parish Registration from and use Sunday Offertory Envelopes.  This will greatly assist the Parish Team when parishioners request sacraments, funerals or letters of reference.  N.B.  Please notify the parish office if you change your address or family information.

Rest in Peace

Our Parish Community wishes to extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Carol Prince (sister of Earl Totten) and all the faithful departed.  May they rest in peace.

Please pick up a baptismal package from an usher at the entrance of the church or at the parish office.

All parents wanting to have their child baptized in the upcoming months must speak with Carol Soloman, Lay Pastoral Associate before each Baptism Preparation Session.  Please note that the Baptism Date must be confirmed with Carol before you make arrangements for family and friends to attend.  Monthly baptisms are on a first come first served basis.

The next Baptism Preparation Session will be Saturday, September 14th at 10 am  in the parish room.  The upcoming Baptism dates are: September 15th, October 20th and November 17th at 2 pm.

Taste of the Danforth

Takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (August 9th, 10th & 11th).  We are planning to open the church to the public for visitation during the afternoons of Saturday and Sunday like we did last year.  In order for this to take place in an orderly fashion and with the proper respect we will need volunteers from the parish to act as tour guides and ushers.  Tour guides to answer questions about the church and ushers to maintain control over what is appropriate in the church and what is left outside.  Times would most likely be limited to 1 pm – 4 pm on Saturday and 2 pm – 4 pm on Sunday.  There will be a meeting of interested persons to discuss what will be expected of you.  We have a “self guided tour brochure” to make this open house a more meaningful experience.  Over one million people attend  the Taste of the Danforth and this would be a good opportunity for our church and our faith community to stand front and centre and open and welcoming.  If you are interested in participating in this open house, please contact the parish office or sign up at the entrance of the church on the clipboard.
