Calling all Carolers

On Friday, December 19th meet in the church basement to do some serious Christmas Caroling.

We’ll be strolling the Danforth, visiting the homes of a few members of the Holy Name Communtiy who aren’t able to join us and generally spreading the joy of the season.

Hot chocolate, coffee and tea provided back at the church after caroling.  Please bring a bag of cookies if you can!

The Society of St Vincent De Paul, Holy Name asks you to support our Giving Tree. This is about taking a dove and buying a toy or gift for needy children in our community.

Along with the doves, we are offering you the opportunity to give a gift donation in the name of your friends, family and colleagues. This is a gift that 100% supports the less fortunate of our community and helps St Vincent de Paul continue our work of helping those in need. Please consider taking a gift card package from the Giving Tree and give a gift that gives back.

We are also looking for parishioners to sponsor families at Christmas time. Let’s share our abundance with the less fortunate in our parish community. Please phone Holy Name St. Vincent de Paul at 416-469-0842 and leave a message.

 Thank you.

ST. BRIGID'S OUT OF THE COLD is a volunteer-run, donation-funded ministry for all in need of a nourishing meal and a safe, warm place to spend the night, Monday evenings at 1099 Danforth, from November to April.

Your help is needed, whether in the kitchen or helping to unload heavy groceries, socializing with the guests or negotiating corporate sponsorships. Donations are also vital - money, gift cards, apple juice, warm clothing. Please remember our guests in your prayers, too!
